João Simão  holds an undergraduate degree in Business and Management from ISCTE -University Institute of Lisbon (1993), a Masters in Statistics and Information Management from New University of Lisbon (1999) and a Doctorate on Management from Universidade Aberta (2009), Portugal. He is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Management at Universidade Aberta (UAb). His main research and teaching areas include sustainable development, tourism, business ethics.
